Course Overview
This three-day instructor-led CAPM® exam prep course is designed to provide a solid foundation in project management. Participants will work through real-world case studies and interact with fellow students to learn and apply methodologies and good practices of formal project management. The program combines a comprehensive review of major project management processes and knowledge with hands-on learning activities to ensure participants finish with practical skills which can be applied immediately on the job.
Course Objectives
Upon successfully completing the course, in addition to having a firm foundation on how to effectively lead and successfully manage projects, participants will also be adequately prepared for PMI’s entry-level Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Certification.
In this class, you will learn to:
- Identify the key processes and requirements of project management
- Coordinate and integrate project activities
- Plan and manage the project scope, schedule, and budget
- Plan and manage project quality, risks, and procurement
- Effectively communicate with and engage stakeholders
- Lead, manage and contribute in traditional, agile and hybrid project environments

Prerequisites
Education Requirements
High school diploma, GED (general educational development) or global equivalent
23 hours of project management education
Certification Maintenance Requirements
- Must earn 15 PDUs per three-year cycle to maintain certification
Exam Information
- 180 minutes, 150 multiple-choice questions, drag-and-drop-style questions, and animations/comic strips.
